“You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger.” – Buddha (attributed)
On the rare instances I feel legitnate anger bubbling up within me, I remember aforementioned quote.
Writing/scribbling is so cathartic. It’s been one of my main sources of relief since childhood.
It’s all about channeling negative emotions into something authentic & beautiful. Bad days & times are inherent to life. Rather than fight that fact, accept it.Allow the emotions- good, bad & ugly flow in and out of you. Grasping to certain emotions & fleeing from others is an exercise is supreme futility.

Emotions exist on a continuum. They ebb & flow. It’s true that finding productive uses for anger & other negative emotions is no easy task, at least initially.
Over time it gets easier to spin negative thoughts & emotions into something useful. It’s this fact that makes the endeavor one worth pursuing.
